Day 9 - Totem Pole

This colourful wood carving stands tall in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It towers the trees behind it.(see pic below) It was presented by the Boy Scouts of British Coulumbia and Yukon, carved by Chief Mungo Martin of "The Kwakiutl Indian Tribe" in 1960.

Love the angle in the first shot, well done. The angle of the second shot left me kinda, um, never mind! :)

Beautiful totem poles.... great capture of this type of folk art! The perspective gives an additional strength to the image.

Very nice shots of a lovely subject, especially the angled one at the top. So much more dramatic.
