.....we're you right? See below.

A set of three "Chain Rings". These rings hold the chain in place and help while you crank and propel a bicycle when you ride it. This one, in particular, is for my twenty-one speed mountain bike. As you can see, She's in pretty rough shape after I took her out for a fairly harsh run the other day! See the busted and warn out teeth?

I don't think I'm right but it looks like an element from an electric hob.
I'm stumped...and very intrigued! is there a sword blade in there somewhere? Probably not!
Beautiful lighting and a lovely abstract shot.
I think I know what this is, but I won't spoil it for those who want to guess... ;-)
Sweet shot! I was wrong, I thought it was a ventilation fan like you would find in bathrooms. Shows how smart I am! :P
I never would have guessed - and I have taken apart many of those gear assemblies. They usually are not moving when I do do! Great mysterious shot!

I was wrong, too, I thought it was some sort of electric coil.
I, too, thought it was a coil from an electric cooktop burner. But, no matter, it makes a great abstract anyway!
I spoiled it for myself by clicking on the image to view it in full size, and it went to a well-documented imagebucket site where the name jumped off the page at me. :-(
I would otherwise have had absolutely no clue. Very nice mystery work.
